This page is a growing resource of Bahá'í-related files for high-quality printing. Vector graphics, such as Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand, Corel, and various CAD formats allow for unlimited scaling without loss of quality. Therefore, these formats are the standard in graphic design, printing, typesetting, etc. The following graphics can be fully customized in terms of color, shape, and size.

This vector artwork is available to you in EPS format or a format of your choice for use in most graphics software, but especially such programs as Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Fireworks, Macromedia Flash, and Corel.

I created these files to help ease the amount of work involved in creating quality posters, banners, t-shirts, newsletters, and other printed materials, although you could just as well use these files in Macromedia Flash or Fireworks. If you use these files for printing, this means you will be able to print the EPS file at a resolution of your choosing - something not possible using a bitmap image such as a JPG or GIF. My image gallery contains many such images but they are limited in that their resolutions do not lend themselves to use in larger format printing such as posters. If you use the EPS file(s) in Flash, it means you can save yourself precious file size and bandwidth usage, since the user won't need to download a bitmap. Instead of a 4 Kb bitmap, you could load a 1 Kb vector, and the vector could be four times as large as the bitmap (on your screen or printed) and still remain just 1 Kb, whereas a bitmap would become something like 13 Kb.

If you're designing a poster, t-shirt, or anything requiring a large graphic, a simple JPG or GIF downloaded from the web won't do, since it will get grainy when you enlarge it. These files are available in EPS (Encapsulated PostScript), which is a vector format that can be opened or imported by most graphics software on both Windows and Macintosh platforms.
